It's not just decor

Everything in your animal's tank serves a purpose. Substrates, plants, floating ramps, basking rocks, backgrounds, vines, hides and rocks let your pet live happy and healthy in an enclosure.

Habitat needs for reptiles, small animals and other creatures

Reptiles, arachnids, insects and fish all have specific setup needs so they don't just survive — they thrive. Substrate is what goes on the floor of the enclosure: coconut husk, moss, bark, reptile carpet and sand, or even slate tile, paper towels or non-adhesive shelf liner.

Hides matter too. Many animals need a quiet place to cool down, rest, sleep and get away from their humans — and many use hides, thick vines, rocks and floating or basking platforms to climb on.

Driftwood, stone and mopani wood

A huge selection of driftwood and mopani wood in every shape and size, plus stones and rocks suited to reptile enclosures, aquariums and ponds.

Live plants

A variety of live plants for bioactive vivariums and other enclosures. Many exotics flourish when live plants are part of the setup. Bonus: they make great houseplants too.

We have coconut coir

Coconut coir is a pH-neutral, sustainable substrate that works for a wide variety of reptiles. It's the repurposed husk-to-shell material from supermarket coconuts, ground down into something like peat moss. It's highly absorbent and holds moisture — great for frogs, some geckos, chameleons and other moisture-loving animals.

We sell compressed coir bricks as an alternative to cypress mulch at a very reasonable price. A little goes a long way.
